Biografia

Danilo Montero, a native of Costa Rica, is a pioneer in the renewal of the music of praise and worship in Latin America. With over 25 years of ministry, Danilo Montero music has influenced the repertoire of worship and thousands of Spanish-speaking churches worldwide.

Danilo is also the founder of the record label "Sígueme" and has recorded 18 albums to date. He was nominated for a Latin GRAMMY © in 2010 for his album "Devoción"; He won the 2008 Billboard Award for his production "Tu amor" and has been nominated and awarded several times with the Harp Award Productions "Sígueme", "Fortaleza", "Eres tú" "Tu amor" and "Devoción". He also received a nomination in 2011 Dove Award GMA (Gospel Music Association) for "Devoción".

He is currently signed to the Integrity Music label, with international distribution by the CanZion group.

Besides being a worship leader, Danilo is the author of "El abrazo del Padre" (Casa Creación), whose success earned him a nomination for the Gold Medallion Award from ECPA (Asociación de Editoriales Cristianas Evangélicas). In this groundbreaking book, Danilo shares his personal testimony, providing a message of restoration in the individual walk with God and to family relationships. He is also co-author with Emmanuel Espinosa and Lucas Leys, the book "Generación de adoradores", published by Editoral Vida.

For over eight years, Danilo has developed a series of seminars called "Devoción", aimed at pastors and worship teams, with seeking help them renew their spiritual life, refocus and give new impetus to his service to God. Danilo, his wife and their daughter Victoria Gloriana, currently living in Houston, Texas, where they serve as pastors of the Hispanic congregation at Lakewood Church.
